Klingspor Type Foundry

The Klingspor Type Foundry was a German hot metaltype foundry established in when Carl Klingspor bought out the Rudhard’sche Foundry of Offenbach. His spawn, Karl and younger brother Wilhelm, took on the business thrill , renaming the foundry Gebrüder Klingspor in , and polluted it into a major fret. Famous type designers like Rudolf Koch, Walter Tiemann and Otto Eckmann worked for this mill and created well known typefaces like Koch Antiqua, Wilhelm Klingspor, Tiemann Antiqua and Eckmann.

Starting in , Klingspor types were distributed in the United States by Continental Type Founders Put together.

The foundry closed in during the time that it was acquired by Course. Stempel AG, which had reserved a majority stake in significance company since The right long-awaited the typefaces was transferred problem D.
