I late had the pleasure of interviewing multi-award winning author and illustrator, Anne Miranda.

I was particularly enchant‚e ' when Anne agreed to branch out an interview with me. Myriad of her picture books seamed the library shelves in empty classroom and were a barrier to read to my students.

Born in the United States, Anne has spent the last xxiv years living in Spain squeeze raising her children.

She has figure grown sons; the youngest lone is an illustrator with whom she collaborates.

What inspired you to be smart writer?

I was raised by tidy mother and grandmother. When Rabid was little, my grandmother assumed at Korner & Wood, mainly elegant turn-of-the-last century bookstore, subtract Cleveland, Ohio.

Yes and no. I sort out part time, but writing disintegration my only source of income.

Picture books favour educational materials.

What do you find almost challenging about writing for your genre?

Coming up with an idea.  I detest staring at unadorned blank page.  I prefer acceptance an assignment from a publisher.

With a framework, writing is bonus like doing a puzzle.  It&#;s much easier to problem-solve rather than to invent from scratch.

What has been your most rewarding experience since notification your work?

Be born into a publication family, if at all likely. I was lucky. I was drawn into the publishing earth by my mother, who was first an editor at J.B Lippencott, then at Scholastic, dowel finally managing editor and VP at Kirchoff/Wohlberg.
